I assume, by the crude fashion in which your question is written, you think you are already capable of pausing time? Well, I don't know. How DO you do it?

You probably need to study Zen Buddism and the approach it takes to time. Try this book that has just been published: "Each Moment Is The Universe - Zen and the Way of Being Time" by Dainin Katagiri.

You can just pretend like you are pausing it. Or if you wish to slow down time do something really boring. If you want time to fly, do something fun. I'm afraid that's as close as you'll come to controlling the passage of time.

Sir Isaac Newton, specifically said once that time travel is impossible, which is what you are doing, it can seem that time freezes, slows down, or even goes faster, by tricks our mind plays on us. but, however, he said time viewing may be possible, so, one day, we may see a time viewing machine. but, as I said, it is simply tricks your mind is playing on you, to make it appear things are moving faster than they are.
