As far as family music, Jonas Brothers are great. Relient K has some really good songs like Sadie Hawkins Dance and High Of 75.

Go to timelife.com and there is soft rock cd compilations and you can purchase or listen to 30 second clips. Also on amazon.com, you can do the same.
