I'm 13 years old. This guy who lives across the street (he's 16)..well I think he likes me. My sister and my friends tell me this too. He always picks leaves off of tree's and throws them at me. He always tries to pick me up and makes fun of me for being small. We're both Italian so we always talk about Italian stuff. He's always coming over when my sister and my friend are outside and him and I always end up in these deep convorsations. I catch him staring at me. He always offers to drive me to school. My mom came out outside one day and talked with us while she was watering the plants and then when I came in she said she thought he liked me. He's always giving me advice and he tells all of his friends to watch out for me. He also seems very protective over me also...and once when it was raining we ran into my garage and sat down. Then he told me my mascara was running and he took his hands and cleaned it up for me..
I really don't know what to think...

Sounds like he's definitely interested. Please don't think I'm trying to burst your bubble, but I've just been realizing this as I get older: When I was 12-13 I would see guys that I thought liked me and now that I'm 15 I look at other kids between 11-13 as younger siblings, or I look at them with some strange fascination. It's hard to explain so I know that if I was 16 I personally wouldn't be attracted to a guy 3 years younger than me. For all I know, he could be totally into you. Edit - Everyone else it right though. I wouldn't pursue a relationship with someone 2-3 years older than me because TYPICALLY older guys like younger girls because they're easy.

He likes you . He may see you as a little sister though, you know how Italians are. Keep doing what your doing, because he must like you. If he's a respectable young man, and he sounds like one, He will let you know what he thinks about you if you ask him later on this fall.

at first I thought it might be that he looks at you like a little sister and wants to protect you, but when you said that you both ran into your garage when it was raining, and he told you that your mascara was running, then wiped it off for you, that totally changed how I was thinking.

You are too young for a boy that age. Wait until you get 16, then if he is still interested it might be worth pursing.

well it sounds like he likes you........
if everyone is telling you that - why don't you believe them.
but you are a little to young to be getting involved with a 16 yr old. you may get your heart broke! be careful!! if he is your neighbor - you guys may hook up later down the road when your older!
