I want to look good, haha. I've been tanning alot, and I must admit I look damn sharp, but it's kinda obvious that I tan. I mean, I'm not real dark, but you can kind of tell that I have been tanning. Gay?

umm...i wouldn't say its gay. My boyfriend would lol...but I wouldnt. What I would say, however, is that I am more attracted to guys that are not obsessed with being tan. Guys that take care of their skin and wear SPF is a turn on for me because it means they feel they are "damn sharp" just the way they are and they are going to make sure that they, as men, "age gracefully"! Because their future health is more important.

Definitely not! Tanning is really nice on both guys and girls. If you go to some sunny place, it's not like you can help it, right? So not gay, tans make people look great. I got a serious tan this summer, I spent a month in California/Utah/Arizona and another month in Taiwan, and it's really obvious. =D

I don't see what a suntan has to do with being gay. If every straight man or woman for that matter that have been tanning were gay, practically everyone would be and there would not be any insecurities about their appearance! You are who you are, no matter what other people may think. It is a question of personnal choice and it's no-one's business what one does to be gorgeous! LOL !!!

It's not gay, but it's bad for you. Also, stop worrying about what other people think.
You should probably spray tan, not real tan. Spray tanning may seem to be more associated with girls and metrosexuals, but it won't kill you like the sun will. And I hope you're not in Australia, because if you are and you've been tanning, you're screwed.

Why does it have to be gay? I don't think it is bad for a guy to tan. If anything is negative, it will make you look like you might be too conscious about your self image.

Okay, tanning is not "taking care of yourself," as another answerer said. It's courting skin cancer, which some people DO die from. Do yourself a favor and quit tanning.
