oh yes.

oh you're Trisha's older sister.

oh you're the girl that Alice was talking to.

oh you're Dylan's girl.

oh you're Mrs so and so's student

and also once I take in my bf/fiance's last name though... yeah I will be. I won't be called miss dylan's girlfriend anymore but I'll be known as Mrs [dylan's last name]. so it's just going from one tied identity to another and so forth.

it happens a lot. But I'm still glad I have an identity to them at least. Now people will know that my man is taken - BY ME! lol. But it does suck when ur not identified as yourself and your name.

Yes but i got it back...
My dumb cousin was carrying my stuff (documents, my cali id, student id, all those things) in his bag cause we were going to this ice rink to sign up for play hockey and we need ids, etc...
we were in a bus going there and like when we got off, he forgot his bag inside the bus -sigh- it was a hassle getting it back.. we had to call the bus company and tell them.... and like we got it back by the end of the day. the driver found our stuff in his last stop, but like he had to go another route thats why i got it like in the evening around 6.we lost it around 10am.
that day i've learned a lesson.. never leave my things to someone irresponsible, he have a history of losing things in public places... he always forgets his umbrella in the bus lol so now his mom doesn't even buy him any umbrella and when it rains he has to wear a rain jacket lol...

Well in other people's eyes I'm just my brother's sister, my sister's sister, my mother's daughter. But I know who I am and don't allow those labels to define who I am. I DEFINE WHO I AM!!!!!

it's really sad, but I think that most people do at some time in their lives.
it's hard going through life being not being known for who you truly are, but for who's little sister you are or who's kid you are.
I just work really hard at accomplishing my goals that I set for myself, and that seems to help people see me for who I am, and not just for who I'm related to.
