I usually get mine a nice length(natural-can't afford acrylics), but with all the cleaning and picking up I do, I only have them for about 2 weeks, and then they all get ripped off or chipped, so I have to start over again.
Sigh.

i have always had long nails. what i do it to rub hand cream everytime i wash clothes, dishes, cook. message in round motion on the nails, doesn't matter which cream u use it can be body butter, moisteriser, body cream , anything as long as its creamy and a bit oily! get used to doing this and ull get permenently long nails.
i have a remedy aswell, put a full egg in a cup, rub a lemon on it, throw the lemon ,keep the cup that has the egg and lemon juice in room temprerture for a day. take the egg out and put ur nails in the liquid for 20 minutes atleast twise a week and wash them.
the acid in the lemon and the egg shell make nails hard and healthy!

honestly, long nails are lots greater handy to maintain clean than short fingernails in my journey. With short fingernails, something that the fingertip touches facilitates some airborne dirt and dirt to adhere to the fingertip, which then gets caught under the nail. long nails shop the fingertip from touching issues promptly and so tend to stay clean lots longer. Fingernails shrink very short seem dirtiest in my opinion until the guy has only had a bathtub or bathtub.

Really I envy the well maicure acrylic nails of otther women, but the reality is I alway have my hands in something- water, rocks, dirt,- or I am always doing something ( I am like totally deconstructing my house) so nails are not practical 4 me

I'm lucky with my nail, I have very strong nails so they are almost always long!! I never file my nails, I only clip them because somebody told me that filing your nails weakens them and clipping them has worked for me!!
