Seems like the people who say don't judge others are being judgmental of those who are using level headed discernment. Seems like a fanatical idea of the actual understanding of the meaning of Judgment.

The statement "don't be judgemental" is rediculously judgemental in itself!

When you judge someone you are in essence 'qualifying' them for whatever purpose or impression you may have in mind for them. A person's judgment is based on parameters formed from the experiences of the one doing the judging...and sometimes those parameters can be skewed because of mankind's inherent ability to posses bias.
Of course, over time a person because of his/her behavior can justify any judgment formed by another it is best to see personalities in the most reasonable of positive light until facts deem otherwise.

If you look so deeply that you truly and kindly understand something, then perhaps you can judge fairly. But to just pass out off hand convictions about things without really giving it thought is pretty brutal in terms of being fair and accurate.

people should look at themselves closely before saying anything about others....I would never want to be a judge....we all have our reasons for how we live and for what we do....you find people that are overly judging very alone later in life
