Because when you don't live here and only hear your information and news from foreign sources you don't know what this country is really like.

My country right or wrong, but my country nonetheless.

Same reason non-blacks can't say '******' without it being even though many blacks seem to use it all the time.

It's one thing for me to complain or insult my country/race/college/whatever, but it's quite another if I catch you sayin' it.

i guess it is kind of the same when we all hate our brother or sister, but nobody else is allowed to beat them up...
