People always say that the definition of insanity is repeating the same act and expecting different results. This is not the actual definition of insanity, but the quote works for this answer.
It depends on the mistake, I'm sure I have. Ideally we learn from our mistakes, but if it is something we really want to do it is easy to talk yourself into thinking there will be a different outcome.

It sort of depends on the kind of mistake. Iv had plenty of mistakes iv learned twice, Some were good and some were bad. So it is really dependant on he question.

If I know it's a mistake I will not do it again. Sometimes we forget about doing same mistakes again and again since we are but human and human forget. So we are to be reminded again and again so that we cannot commit same mistakes. If i made the same mistakes willingly and knowingly, I will be likened to a stupid fool. But if it happened to anybody, I am willing to forgive.

I'll admit it....I have. I went to Ruby Tuesday and got food poisoning. I figured (since i was nervous due to it being my first date with someone) my stomach was just antsy and that's what made me sick. Boy, was I wrong! Let's just say that I haven't made the same mistake three times.
