They should! If we are allowed to do it, why not anyone else?
If I think my neighbor owns too many guns, or knives, I should be able to walk across into his yard, shoot his family, and blow his head off too, before he has a chance to do the same to me, right?
That's what we are teaching people anyway.

And furthermore, isn't it sickening how when you criticize Bush you have untold numbers who then say "but but Clinton did this Clinton did that and you didn't criticize him"...how the hell do you know who i criticized in the first place? And to be quite frank, any leader, democrat or republican, who pre-emptively strikes anyone deserves to be tried on war crimes...be it Clinton or Bush.

Because for once we went out and attacked before we got hit. I am annoyed at liberals that have the idea that an enemy has to kill a couple of thousand of Americans before we do anything. This is a "tradition" I can do without.
And let me remind you that Clinton also launched an attack against a sovereign nation, without approval from Congress.

The precedent was set a long time ago in human history. Didn't you see 2001-A Space Odyssey?

possibly, yes, but please don't forget that war has been declared for no reason at all in the past. Germany invaded several countries for "territorial claims".. they didn't claim they rightfully owned these lands, they just said they wanted them. That was recent -- WWII I believe. Yea, the United States may be sending the wrong message to the world, or it might be sending the right one. Whos to say?

Nah, we're actually coming late to the party. Most other nations have already done their pre-emptive war bit.

If you're powerful enough, you don't need precedent. Basically why the US was able to override the UN. Well, that and its pretty much powerless.
