Does eyeliner on the top lid look good?I only wear it on the bottom. How do you apply it to the top eyelid?
Also, what is the best eyeliner?

Eyeliner is best applied to the top lid only. Applying it to both top & bottom can make eyes look smaller.
If you want to create a smoky eye design then apply a thin line of dark eye shadow tight against the lower lash line & smudge it.

The best eyeliner is from Urban Decay called Zero. It's waterproof with minimal smudging, it's definitly for a high impact look. If you are looking for an eyeliner to wear in the day you should try Clinique, it's less intense and stays put for a really long time. I think that both are about $14.

the top lid actually looks better than just the bottom. the best eyeliner to use depends on what look your going for. for a dramatic look use liquid liner. like nicole richie. for a subtle kind of look use a pencil liner. to apply, close your eye and pull the end of your eyelid out so its a flat surface. slowly line your lid as close to your eyelashes as you can. hope this helps :)

Yes I use it on the top lid and I blend it with the eyeshadow. If the eyeliner does not come with a blending tool you could use a Q-tip. You may want to heat the eyeliner a little (quickly with a lighter perhaps) to make it go on smoothly.

Only attempt to apply it on the top if you have a steady hand.
If you want to use liquid liner, I suggest purchasing one with a felt tip, they go on the smoothest.
As for eyeliner pencils, kohl pencils work the best. Make sure that you sharpen it before you apply to the top lid.
Same instructions for both products:
Draw a thin/thick (whatever your preferance) line on top lid. If line isn't perfect, smudge with finger, or sponge tip applicator.

The easiest way to do your top is with a liquid liner that has a small thin brush. I love using the bee luscious liquid eyeliner on my clients because it is very easy to use.

i wear it on the top and the bottom . & to apply you have to hold your eyelid down with your left hand and apply with your right =]

I only wear it on bottom. I think I look like a panda when I put it on top.

well i only use it on the bottom but i use EXAGGERATE by rimmel! i goes on great!
