One of my friends is always talking about magic. I don't believe in it but some stuff really works. It scares me!! Does it scare you too?!?!

I believe. It doesn't scare me but it has the potential to scare those like yourself because it threatens your belief that it isn't "real". It is most harmful in the hands of the ill-informed and those whose motives are questionable. I am smart enough to be neither.

I have dreams that are actually predictions. The dreams that are predictions feel very different than normal dreams. I'm highly gifted in divination, which when I focus on the object, such as dice, I can guess it acurrately. Took me about 30 min to get 30 consecutive correct guesses. Also, things sometimes just come to me uncontrollable, such as a flash, like a still picture.

After testing my divination a little, I decided to try a spell. I focused and innately casted a spell, which was directed to have a person reveal their true self. The next day, that person's friend told me all sorts of things about that person. Most of it was bad. I haven't casted a spell since, due to the repercussions that may come with inexperience.

Once I fortify my mind by getting over my depression, I plan on honing my gift to see exactly how it works and if there is a limit. To eventually be able to affect something physically, such as spontaneous combustion or healing, would be interesting.

P.S. Not believing in magick is the reason you can't do it well, if at all. Because you have doubt in your self, the seed of doubt you have created is working against you. If you embrace everything, it should come to you naturally. I'm not religous, but agnostic.

I've been Wiccan since I was 14. I'm 22 now, and it's been a wonderful journey of self-discovery. Wicca isn't just about magick, it's about connecting with the world around you. Some spells and other works can scare you a bit at first, but once you become more comfortable with it, it becomes second nature.

It dosen't scare me unless I know the true power of it. I belive if you can control your mind and proctect your self(magickly or non-magickly) then you have nothing to fear. I never seen real powerful magic(k) being cast before.

I believe in magic, but I believe that practicing magic will in the end destroy you. People don't understand what power they are using. They can't tell the difference between good and evil. In my opinion there is no such thing as a good witch/ wizard etc.

I think it exists.

I am, however, skeptical of any particular claimed instance of magic without supporting proof.

Doesn't particularly scare me, though.

I am a wizard or warlock, whichever suits you, and I can tell you that magick is incredibly real. I have seen amazing things that most would attribute to a fairytale or fantasy. However, it is nothing to fear. It is around us at all times, and is constantly blessing us and influencing us. I hope that you learn to understand your friend and her faith!

Blessed be!
