Whites were slaves, and were called crackers and then the blacks controlled everything, and today the name cracker would be similar to the N word of yesterday. My question is if that were the case, if a black person called you a cracker, would you be upset

Good question, I love these. ;) I'm Polish and blond, a double whammy and those jokes don't bother me.

I guess I always consider the source when I am dealing with idiots who use profane language and pity those who don't have the ability to have more creativity when trying to be funny or hurtful.

It takes much more work and intelligence to insult someone without using poor language than it takes to call someone a "fu*king honkey", "n*gger" or "cracker".

I believe that war ended in 1865.

Here is the deal. The current black person in America is far better off that his/her contemporary is in Africa. Slavery is abhorrent but because slaves were brought here, their decendents are far far far better off than if their ancestors were left in Africa.

Ask any black American if he/she would trade places with a person in Darfur or Sudan.

What ya think the answer will be?

That's impossible to say because that's not how history happened. I'm assuming you would get the same reaction as you would get from calling an African American an N word though.

NO! They used to call me Honkey, and that was O.K.
