NHL rinks are mandated to be kept at 58 degrees. Due to many factors, rinks can feel colder and warmer (outside temperature, # of people in side, etc)

I think it varies. I'd imagine it's difficult to maintain a constant temperature.
I know here in NC, when the Hurricanes won the Cup, it was in the upper 80's outside and it was warm in the arena. The ice surface was affected. Add a capacity crowd and it varies even more.
I have season tickets on the glass, and the temperature seems to vary from the 50's to the 60's where I sit, depending on the crowd and the outside temperatures. :) We also see bigger temp shifts when NC State's basketball team has games in the afternoon and the Hurricanes play later that night.

Sweet Merry, Did I mention that you're a great friend and that I will follow you to the ends of the earth?
seriously though, usually 60s or 70's depending on when you're in there. If you're alone in there for a practice or something, it'll probably be about 55-60. For a game with a crowd in there it can get up to 70-75.

It's pretty close to 70 degrees, depending on circumstances. If the house is packed, it can get a little warm inside the building because of the body heat. If it is half-empty, it can be a little chilly. Once in a while a building can be a little cold or warm unexpectedly, but usually it's on target.

As a ex player on the actual ice it's about 70 with a packed house. Even during morning skates it's about 65 at its lowest. You could skate with just shorts and no shirt and be comftorable. Hope this helps

If your at a pro arena it's either in the 60's or 70's but at most other rinks it can be as cold as the low 40's (maybe lower).

Usually mid-60's pregame.
The crowd will warm it into the mid-70's by the end.

not as cold as most people think. i dont know the specific temp. but it is normally either room temp. or higher, depending on the life of the crowd.
