Memo to me: Don't make joke about Beatles. :-)
I've never seen such a prolific outpouring of scorn and unoriginal insults. Geez!

No, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Star and George Harrison were members of the Beatles. Elton has been around since the 70s and has a ton of hits.

No, he wasn't. I don't think he would have fit in because John, Paul, George were lifelong friends, and Ringo was found in place of Peter Best as a replacement on the drums. The Beatles blended perfectly in all areas, including writing collaborations. Elton John may have affected that chemistry.

I'm gonna say Eric Clapton due to the fact that he was probably the only musician who worked with all 4 ex Beatles on their solo albums! Also Eric did play on a Beatles song!

Nope. Elton John was always an independent artist and was never in a band like the Beatles. :D

Nope!! Just John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. I think there had been another member, at some point that left or something like that, but it wasn't Elton John.

No, but he did play with John Lennon several times; they were good friends, and Elton John wrote the song Empty Garden about him.
