Question about gourami skin disease?

My moonlight gourami has raised pink and white spots all over its body. They don't seem to affect its behavior or eating habits, and the fish store doesn't know what it is. Any ideas?

That sounds like "Ick"; the most common disease among aquarium-kept fish. It is easily treated by Ick remedies available at Wal-Mart etc. Avoid asking that particular pet store for advice in the future since they are obviously clueless.
