We use to have one in our house. I would see him out of the corner of my eye, and things would turn up missing and show up again in weird places weeks later.

Well, to this day I am not sure if this qualified as a "ghostly encounter" but it is something that I cannot explain. I had always heard that departed relatives sometimes let you know that they are around by turning on things like TVs or ringing the telephone (only to have you answer and nobody be on the other end). Again, I have heard that...not sure that I believe it. Anyway, one night about a year ago, I was in the upstairs part of the house studying. It was late, and I decided to take a break and listen to some music on my MP3 player. I put on the headphones and began listening, when I suddenly thought that I heard voices coming from one of the other rooms on the upper story of the house. I took off the headphones, and realized that it was the sound of a radio playing in the other room. We have a room upstairs with some exercise equipment in it, and my dad uses it mostly. However, this was 10PM, and he is not normally up at that hour. So, I opened the door of my room expecting to see him in there working out...but was met with total darkness. I looked into the far corner of the room and saw the lighted dials from the radio/CD player that he uses...it was on and playing. Nobody but me was up there. I am a militray veteran, and an ex-cop who has been in a lot of dangerous situations, but that night my blood ran cold and my stomach knotted up. I turned on all the lights and walked into the exercise room, and over to the radio. That radio can be turned on either by pressing a button on the unit or by using the remote control. The remote was sitting on top of the unit and had not been touched. While I was in the room, I got the distinct feeling that I was not alone, but there was nobody else in there. I shut the radio off and unplugged it. I went downstairs and asked my mom if she had been upstairs and she said she hadn't. My dad was asleep. I told her about it, and she thinks that is was my grandfather, who died right before I deployed to Iraq in 2004, just letting us know that he is around us. That is the only time something like that has ever happened with that radio, and I have no reasonable explanation for it. I still go upstairs with a fair amount of unease because of it. Anyway, that is my story for what it is worth.
Another thing that has happened recently is that I keep thinking that I see someone out the corner of my eye, only to turn and nobody be there. One day I was working in the chem lab at school (I am a lab assistant) and thought that I saw someone move past the door. I walked over to the door, which goes into an adjoining lab, and it was all dark...nobody there. Creepy....

I have never seen a ghost but, I several years ago while at work I was sitting in a mansion that was on property waiting for the other employees to start work.. When I got a strong feeling that I was no longer alone...I felt no threat but the feeling that I was not alone was so strong I started to talk to an empty room.. basicly asked it not to throw anything at me...I saw no reason to leave the room since I felt no threat from what ever was there..and no it couldn't have been another person since there was only one way in or out of that room and I was sat facing the only way in.

The last encounter I had was four days ago. I was helping out with a haunted/history tour, and my upper arm was grabbed as the group was at the entrance of a local cemetery. Thing was, I was standing away from the group, no one was near enough to me to grab my arm.
I am also clairaudiant and clairsentient; so 'ghostly encounters' happen from time to time 24/7

I actual have too many to assert, i will grant you with a short tale nonetheless. My brother and that i have been walking our canine at nighttime interior the woodland the position we stay. There are some benches alongside the way for only chilling out and playing the woods. We stopped only in the front of this actual bench even as suddenly this fluorescent eco-friendly orb manifested and slowly rised from the bench like someone might want to. This replaced into quite vibrant and lasted for type of 5 seconds. i replaced into extra intrigued than freaked out in spite of the actual incontrovertible truth that I absolutely felt slightly creeped out by utilizing it. If it replaced right into a ghost i don't think it replaced right into a malevolent one. I felt too calm even as staring top at it. i will never overlook it.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

I had a neighbor that was ill with Cancer who loved to walk down my country road at all times of the year. One day I saw her figure walking to the little creek by my house, and I got in the car and intended to go talk to her because I thought I saw her wave. When I got in my car, got on the road, she was gone. I later found out she had died sometime around that time I saw her. I haven't seen her since.

yes. I saw an old woman sitting on the edge of the bed watching my husband sleep when we were first married. I told his grandmother the image i saw and she pulled out a photo album and I pointed her out. and she said that it was my husbands great great grand mother. she had that house built and that was her bedroom that he was sleeping in.... freaky, rite!... well we moved out of that house a couple of years later and his brother and wife moved in and their 2 boys were born after they moved in there and when they were small each of them used to play with "the lady" ..so, yeah, I think Ghosts are real.
