Sometimes. All of the Mcdonalds around me seem to be getting slower and slower even when there is no one before you in the drive-thru or inside. I don't mind the wait so much. It's the rude incompetant staff that never seems to get my order right, or hot. Then there's Tim Hortons who has overcharged me on one item order, and sometimes you have to remind them you have change coming.
It does seem that the fast food chains are not as fast as they used to be.

Depends upon where you go. I have been to a combination Taco Bell/Long John Silver's in my town. If I order Taco Bell, the food comes fast. If I order fish from the Long John Silver's side, it takes a long time. The staff makes the food to order, so the wait is longer.

If I go to McDonald's, I get my food fast, but often, it's luke warm. It's been sitting under the heat lamp. So, I try to skp McD's.

If I go to Burger King, I get hot burgers, but warm french fries.

If I go to Wendy's, I have to wait a bit, but everything is hot.

So,I guess it depends upon where you go. .....

Only when you go there during "rush hour". At my McDonalds at 12:15 p.m. Mon - Fri you have to stand in line for a long time before they can take your order.

Actually I think it is too quick. Just another example of people getting instant gratification which will be the downfall of a once great civilization. Some things should take time and effort, it makes it mean something, worth something. Cook a meal, sit down, eat slow, talk about your day with your family, friends, whatever. Life isn't a race, slow down or you just might win.

If you are in a hurry, don't get in line when there are 3 or more cars in the drive-thru. GEEZ. It's not rocket science. You should realize that when there are a lot of cars in line that there is going to be a wait, especially at peak hours.

For the most part I think it's a little too quick. I'd rather wait a couple of minutes and get fresh food.
