Alright. I downloaded a thing called Second Life. I wanted to open it after I downloaded it, but now it says,
"Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers are out of date or unsupported. Please make sure you have the latest video card drivers installed."
Can anyone tell me what this means, and what to do?? Please..HELP!

It is important to keep video card drivers up to date so go to the web site of the folks who made your vid card and download the latest driver.

Hi, its no big deal. Just go to ur video card manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for ur video card. For example if its Nvidia then visit http://www.nvidia.com and if its ATI then visit http://www.ati.com and by the way even after updating ur drivers the problem persists then that means that ur video card isn't strong enough for the game. Also make sure u have the latest DirectX version from http://www.microsoft.com and make sure the game is compatible with ur operating system.
Good Luck and take care!

Either the driver's that run your video card are not capable of runnin' this game, or the driver's are outdated. You can upgrade your video ,(graphics= same thing), by going to the manufacturer's website of your computer, Support,(or Support & Downloads), and enter your computer model number. Some website's have it that you enter your serial number,(usually on the back of desktop's, and on the bottom of laptop's) Look for video card driver upgrade. BE SURE that it is for your exact model of computer,(hence the serial number thing makes it exact!) In WinXP, right click on MY Computer, then left click on Properties. Click on the Hardware tab, then below to Device Manager, then click on the plus,(+), sign next to Display adapters. This will give you the Manufacturer of your graphics,(video), card.

You need to update your video driver..the software that basically decodes the video program you downloaded so your computer can understand it.....or download and install a new one

there are two possibilities
one: your video card doesn't support second life. this is the case if you have integrated graphics or if your graphics card is pretty old
two: your video card needs new drivers. go to either http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html for ati or http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us for nvidia to download drivers
