NO, and if it did then that would only be by mistake.

NBC makes money not by having you watch Heroes, but by selling the ad time. The companies that buy the ad time for the TV series are paying more than those that buy the ad time on the web. So they expect their ads to be shown first.

The TV show HAS to come FIRST because of the higher cost for TV ad time. It will always be higher because more people have and use TV sets than those on the Internet. Yes, the Internet is worldwide, but the products being sold may only be offered in the US; like telephone service, cars, and products made to US standards. Anybody can buy a brand of shampoo, but you can only buy US cars in the US, and other VERY limited markets. AT&T and Verizon may offer service outside of the US, but their TV ads are targeted to the US audience and offer features and make promises that are only available in the US.

Because TV ad time is more expensive, and because those ads are customized to the US market the TV show has to air first or the ad companies will be cheated and they will move on to other shows. This is also why the Science Fiction Channel shows the NBC Science Fiction show at least a week later, so as to not compete with the original show; even if the air date has to be changed because of an emergency. With 1 week lag time the show can be pulled before it airs first on NBC. If a Presidential address changes the air date of an NBC show then the show won't be released on the Internet or anywhere else until it airs.

Mistakes do happen and some things get out too early. It could be possible to see the show before it airs in some strange cases, but not normally.

Nope, they put the episodes up they day after they air it. They do preview clips before the show airs though.
