Paper.
Maybe it is what I grew up with, but to me it is easier to scan though a tall, narrow and static set of text than a short, wide text that needs to be scrolled.
Also the fact that printers are at 600 dpi+, and a printed page is way higher than that, while monitors are lucky to get to 120 dpi, making edges a lot more ragged.
I have seen a display that was about 220 dpi. That was easier on the eyes.

It is easier to read from Paper only. Human beings' minds always leap faster than the eyes. That's how most of us make mistakes in reading. When you think you have read a particular word, so says your mind, you have not done so in reality because your vision does not adjust to the speed of the mind. The eyes always try to spell out each word and read it then in full form. Your mind doesn't act so. It flies in an uncontrollable speed and naturally you miss the most important words, phrases etc.
Furthermore, it is always easy to check a printed, hard copy in the paper. You have to toggle up and down to fully read the subject in a screen.

It's all personal preference, but most people seem to think that paper is easier to read from. I would have to agree because depending on the monitor, the brightness or contrast may be too high or low, making it difficult to read from. With paper, you obviously don't have any of these problems.

Definitely paper, especially if reading for an extended period of time. Reading from a computer screen tends to make the eyes a little more susceptible to blurring & eye fatigue.

I find paper the easiest to read from as i can hold it the correct distance away from my eyes to read comfortably, especially if there is a lot of text
