horror movies that will be shown? I hate it when they keep showing scenes from The Exorcist over and over again. I don't want to remember that movie! Still gives me the heebie jeebies.

I don't like it but I have no controp over it. I usually start humming or change the channel. It freaks me out too. I was sleeping and I woke up to a commercial. Creepy.

Halloween ads? I only recall ads for candy with Halloween
advertising on them. What I am waiting for is the Christmas
ads that begin long before Thanksgiving. I know that in
some stores they are already putting out Christmas stuff, like
wrapping paper and Christmas cards.
The scarey movies I hate are some of the vampire movies.
I won't watch those. I used to get nervous with the mummy
movies, and the tanna leaves. When I was little, my parents
never let me watch scarey movies. Except for the Abbott
and Costello comedies with the Invisable Man and one other. I still remember at the end of that one movie, where
they introduce The Invisible Man in a row boat with the
comedy duo, and you see someone light a match and it
moves around before you hear a voice. I think that scared me
more than the preceding movie LOL. Well maybe a toss up
between that scene and the one where Costello watches the
candle move back and forth across the table where he's
sitting. I'm waiting for that to come around on TV again. Their
movies are timeless. And worth seeing over and over.

It's creepy town around here at my house..and all over this town!! This is the Halloweeniest town I've ever seen .They decorate just about as much for Halloween as they do for Christmas. We have a "ghost" on a wire going across our pond. When it goes across it goes "uuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" (like a ghost). You should see the dogs and the ducks when it does that!! I used to not like Halloween..but I'm getting used to it. (I think the name is "brainwashed"!!) They love spooky movies (but not the bloody etc .kind)...just watched Room 1408. It wasn't that spooky tho. So..that's how it is around here. (We live kinda in the country...but not "country country".)..just outside the city limits of a small island town...in Fl. If you saw us..you'd probably call us "Rednecks"..but we're "high class Rednecks" lol

I love the horror movies! The old B&W's are my favorites! What I hate is seeing Christmas items on store shelves next to the Halloween aisle.

I hate when they keep doing any commercial over and over. You're sick of whatever it is they're advertising, before they even show it. I like scary movies and mysteries, but not horror.

I don't like the way stores rush holidays either. The stores here started putting Christmas stuff out the end of Sept. I love fall and wish they'd let us enjoy it.

Psycho was lots worse I thought and Rosemary's baby :O)))

Yep, Halloween's right around the corner already. I have fall decorations out but haven't bought candy yet.
I, too, am thoroughly disgusted with the Christmas stuff out. It makes me sick to my stomach just looking at that suff. We can't enjoy our lovely fall weather for the damn rush on Christmas crap. It disgusts me that we can't enjoy anything for looking ahead so far. It's consumer driven so I guess there are just loads of people out there shopping for Christmas thing.
You have to work real hard these days to stay focused and find your bliss.

Yes, it gets very tiresome. Especially when they put on the same old 'horror' flicks that they show year after year, and they keep showing them right on up till Christmas. But I do like the Abbott and Costello scary comedy movies.

The only reason that I would hate it is because I would want to see some of them and my husband wouldn't. He always wins! BTW, Halloween is my favorite holiday. Trick or Treating Granny

Oh, I don't know the parody with Leslie Nielson isn't that bad. And the Scream movies are pretty stupid, but funny too.
