There are free buses from each of the parks that go to the other parks. You can't walk, they are miles apart. The parks are huge, so going to 2 parks a day means you won't see everything in any of them. Disney has free info, you should check it out and plan ahead! Disney isn't in Tampa, it's near Orlando. Busch Gardens is in Tampa.

The parks are too far apart to walk (and Magic Kingdom is even surrounded by a lake!). There is a bus shuttle system that will gladly shuttle you to the other parks, regardless if you are staying with their resorts or not. But there is a monorail that can be taken from the Magic Kingdom Parking lot to Epcot. That is probably the fastest.
Here's a tip, well, 4 parks in 2 days is very limiting, but if you are going to try...Do not do Magic Kingdom and Epcot in the same day, both of those parks are huge and you will never cover both of them in one day. I suggest doing either Animal Kingdom or MGM Studios in the morning, and heading over to the other park (Magic Kingdom or Epcot) later. Also, when in MGM Studios, get a show schedule and note what performances you would like to see as soon as you get there, they have a very limited number of most of the shows, so get in what you really want to see. And note in Epcot what time the two different sections close, so that if there is something you really want to see, you can plan it before it closes. And overall, try not to switch parks more than once in a day, the busses aren't that quick, so it can waste quite a bit of time if you are hopping all over. And also note what times all the parks are open to...Magic Kingdom is usually open the latest, so maybe on the day you do epcot, after it closes, you still can get over to Magic Kingdom and fit in a few last things.

Have fun!

Once you make it onto Disney property, you can get to just about anywhere without using a car. Here are a few of the most popular options:

1) The monorail can carry you between Epcot and the Magic Kingdom (the monorail does not service any of the other parks).

2) There is a hard-to-find sidewalk (a couple of miles long) connecting Epcot to MGM Studios; on the Epcot end it is near the park entrance close to France (in the back of the park, NOT their main entrance in front) and, on the MGM side, it is near the bus parking area.

3) There are buses traveling throughout the entire Disney property (almost).

4) Some of the locations have boat transportation available as well.

Also, the different parks have different operating hours (each day is different for each park). So, I recommend that you check their web site before planning which parks to go to on which days. Their calendar can be found on this page: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/parkhours/index?id=MKCalendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage

Okay if you are going to Tampa Fl, Disney is not there, You have bush gardens and a great water park called, adventure Island In front of Bush Gardens. Walt Disney world is in Orlando Fl which is about 45 min from Tampa. Now in Orlando the parks are pretty close together. None walking distance, But for fun you have to go to Islands of Adventure no matter what!!! is the best. Disney world has very nice parks they are all great! have fun!

I thought people here were Disney fans! You people have no clue. You can get from all parks to other parks by bus. Except MK to EPCOT. For that you use the monorail. Also there is the option of boat from EPCOT to MGM. Although this does not work if you want to go to MK and MGM on the same day because you would still need to enter EPCOT and walk through to the rear gate which means using admission. You do not have to return to a resort and transfer. However you can NOT go from resort to resort without transfering at a park or DTD.

First of all, Disney World is in the Orlando Kissemmee /St Cloud area, not Tampa.

The parks are not close together, but they provide buses to each park, and like someone said in an earlier post, the Monorail goes to each park.

But it would be difficult to go to two parks a day. There is just to much to do. I usually go to one park a day, and spend the last two at my favorite, the Magic Kingdom, itself.

where are going to stay? because that will make a huge difference. if you are staying at a Disney hotel then it is easy. disney had free transportation between all their properties. either bus (most common), boat or monrail will get you from their hotels to the parks and from one part to another. its quite easy and its a great break between parks. you can use this time to get your plan together for that park (what rides you want to go on, do you want to make restaurant reservations, etc.)

if you are staying off property, then it more difficult. each hotel might have their own "Free" shuttles to the disney parks but they run on their schedule. usually only a couple of times a day. if you miss the bus then you have get a taxi... not really that great.

the only parks you can walk between are Epcot and Disney MGM studios. all of the other are not connected in any way and its dangerous to try to walk between them since you would be walking on highways. and even that walk between Epcot and MGM is not that great. kind of long.

The monorail is good for the Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Otherwise there are buses for the other theme parks. MGM Studios and Epcot have boats that go from various hotels.

If you are staying at a WDW hotel there are bus stops out front of the hotel. There is one for each theme park. But if you are at the Magic Kingdom Park and want to hop over to the Animal Kingdom park you will have to go back to a hotel and then transfer on to the bus that takes you to that park. If you park your car or stay at a non disney hotel you would have to get to the Ticket & Transportation center to get to the parks. When you are at one park and want to park hop ask a cast member at the theme park bus stops which hotel bus is quicker to get you to the park you want to go to. I hope this helps and have a fun trip.

the only time you need a car is to drive to Disney in general. Once you get to the park you park your car and hop on the monorail/the ferry/ or you can take a the ferry, shuttle and monorail are included when you buy your tickets. but next time choose universal and islands of adventure it is way better.
