Hi, my venus flytraps are starting to turn black so i cut them off and i am waiting for a response from you guys before doing this, the guy at the store told me put it in a refrigerator sealed in a plastic bag for 3-5 months, and then he said mist it every couple of days, But heres the thing im affraid thet it will start fungus and mold will start killing it, i told him can i use a fungicide and he said no because the sulphur will do more bad than good to the bulb so what am i suppost to do about the fungus and mold that will propably start in the future?

Well, I only thought I heard them all ;) The plant guy was right. You don't ever use anything on VTFs and that includes fertilizer. As for the refrigerator question, strangely enough, if your outside temps drop below 20 degrees then you can refrigerate your VFT. VFTs need to be winterized in order to return in the spring and if you don't have a garage or garden shed to keep them in then the fridge would be the next best thing. Just keep the soil moist and don't worry too much about fungus or mold because they won't be in there that long. Once temps go above 20 degrees then you can move it outside and let nature revive it. You never said what zone you are in so I am assuming that you have a freezing winter. If not then the fridge is your only way to winterize them.
Anyhow, It should be okay.
