he hasnt scored an offensive td and he has 263 yds....are the chiefs secretley putting a random guy off the street in larry's gear or does larry just suck right now

larry is sucking because opposing defenses stuff the line of scrimmage. they know the chiefs passing game is not great, so their offense is just getting disrespected. the jags held the chiefs to 10 yards rushing. plus two pro bowlers retired from their offensive line. without blocking, any RB would suck, even LJ.

Two names.
Will Shields and Willie Roaf.
Brian Waters and Casey Wiegmann can only do so much. Whoever the Chiefs have at the other guard spot and both tackles, they are hopeless.
A running back is only good as the line and right now, the Chiefs line sucks. Rocket scientist GM Carl Peterson didn't think he needed to draft any offensive linemen to replace two probable Hall of Famers. How Carl has a job, only Lamar's boys know. Carl's only football success was in the USFL and that was in 1983-85?

No protection tends to make any running back suck. Even LT is contained when his O-line is getting beat.
I do like the "got paid" comment though. Fat and Happy and no longer playing to get paid...sounds funny, but don't think that is it.
Larry seems to think he is as good if not better than LT. So I tend to think he is pretty upset about looking pedestrian..

he really was never that great. one great season from a guy whos been embodied as a career crybaby. jump off this bandwagon. the chiefs are on the brian brohm express. a bad team on a rollercoaster to the #1 pick in april.

Several reasons:
TERRIBLE BLOCKING
NO PASSING GAME MAKES HIM TO PREDICTABLE
Too many carries last year (barely anyone does well after leading NFL in carries the previous year)
Not enough carries this year (he's on pace to get only 294 carries compared to last season's 416)

his running style. it varies because he runs straight. he's no barry sanders who can create space. it depends on whether the line is blocking good that day. also the quarterback issue. there really isn't a good qb threat right now so the defense can concentrate more on the run.
