lawn mower with wheels that pull the mower has a problem.it pulls fine untill engine is off than it is hard to push because one of the front wheels locks up.

Sounds like the drive clutch is engaged. You need to locate the drive chain or belt and disconnect it from the front wheel that it has locked.

I agree, there is dirt, debris and rust in the drive wheels. This is keeping them from ratcheting when you try to push it. Take them apart and clean them out. A little grease and your set to go.

I grease mine at least twice a week, make sure there`s no debree cloging the gears and if that doesn`t help, something is wrong with the gears.
