The difference is the finish... Jordan made a stretch before inserting the ball to the ring. Stretched both his leg backwards before stretching his arms for the finish. Just look at the slomo replay. Look at 0:11 of the clip. Jordan may have stepped on the line but clearly Pip did too. Just look at 0:13 of the clip. Pip is longer that he can just grab the ring at will.

Hope this helps.

Yes, he actually did that while in his college days at Kansas and during his entire high school career. He brought about a number of rule changes. The principle of the free throw shooter not "breaking the plane" of the line was one. The other was to make the lane 12 feet wide. When he was in high school and his first two years of college, the lane was only 6 feet wide and looked like a large keyhole (thus the phrase "top of the key"). Also, before Wilt there was no such thing as offensive goaltending. Swifferkramer and xSoVa, saying Wilt wasn't athletic enough to dunk is like saying that LeBron James has no game. Wilt was a track star at Kansas as well as an All-American basketball player. He ran the 100 yard dash in 10.9, put the shot over 56 feet and triple jumped over 50 feet; he also won the Big 7 (later Big 8 and now Big 12) high jump three consecutive years. He left Kansas after his junior year, but did not get drafted into the NBA as they had a rule at the time that ONLY college seniors could be drafted. So, at 7'1" and 275 pounds, he became the tallest point guard ever by playing point guard for the Harlem Globetrotters.

Pippen didn't have a losing season without Jordan? Try Pippens 03-04 season with the Bulls ya JACKASS! The Bulls didn't even make the playoffs.

Good question. Both dunks are amazing and they are both amazing players. Pippens was from a greater distance. Pippen is also taller, has a bigger reach, and a bigger wingspan. Although Michael didn't jump exactly from the free throw line he had an easier time getting the dunk down. His head is still pretty close to the rim while Scottie had to use his large arms. Scottie's was less original- his own teammate did it. Sorry bra, but Michael's is better.

Jordan won. Pippen did not. There is your answer.

Oh and get over it, keep watching Kobe lose this year.
Shaq was the man just Like MJ was the Man. Kobe is
a boy, crying on the radio asking for help.

Good luck watching lakers lose this year.

Jordan was better, even though it was over, Jordan show an illusion that he actually look like he was hanging on/in the air.

Funny how you add additional detail while you know people that just answer the question won't click the same question to answer again.

Seems like you forgot the original and most awesome free throw dunk of all time, Dr. J at Denver in the dunk contest in 1976. Remember, Jordan still wishes and has nightmares that he couldn't dunk like a vintage Dr. J, even the Doc when his knees were shot.
