What is the correct usage of this word?

Their lust of blood....or Their lust for blood?

You cannot say 'Their lust of blood.' it's got to be 'for'. The use of the word ;'of' indicates an emanation like 'The lure of the sea.' or 'The price of oranges.' 'For' indicates desire or want.

Lust FOR blood, although you can just say "bloodlust"
