You'll first need to get the music onto your computer. Copy and paste the music into your computer's "My music" file. Then you can send the music to your portable device (via USB cord) by doing the same thing. This can all be done from my computer. (My Music is under My Documents)

First you have to rip the music from the CDs to your computer. Then you transfer the files to the mp3 player. The procedure for transferring the files will depend on what kind of mp3 player you have; check the owner's manual. You can rip CDs with many programs, possibly with a program you already have.

If you have CD's use the rip option on Windows Media Player. If the music is already on your computer just connect the mp3 player and drag and drop the music onto it. No need to use Windows Media Player at all. Edit: Some mp3 players can also play .wma format music too. You'll see the Windows logo on the box, in the instructions, or on the mp3 player itself if it can.

Well heres the deal

!)MY SUGGESTION: Use Limewire to download all the music u want FIRST before you do these steps. (If you don't have limewire, go to www.limewire.com to download it. It is a program to download programs, videos and music.)

2) Get your mp3 player, take the USB cord out and connect it to the computer. After that go to My computer, then look for your mp3 file in the "My computer" window. Keep this window up.

3) Click on the "My Computer" Icon again and make sure you keep the one open from before. On the new My computer, click on your main Hardrive (C drive) and then go to "Documents and Settings" and then go to "Owner" and then go to "Shared".

4) Your music should be in the shared folder and drag all the music into your mp3 folder and it should then be on your mp3 player.

You have to sinc from a player like Windows Media Player...don't know about using that with CDs, though...you can if they are on your PC drive. Open your Windows Media Player and search HELP.
