Where I live they cost about $30, but I think it would depend on where you are located(probably range between $25-$35)
Also the only reason people would tell you to adopt is not because the ones for adoption need home any more than ones on stores. It is because by purchasing a g. pig at a pet store you are supporting mill type breeding. For every mass bred animal you buy from a pet store another is intentionally bred to takes it place. For every shelter animal you adopt, another one is saved and can take its place in the shelter intead of being put to sleep.

The same as every other PetSmart. Normal price is about $45, but they're often on sale for about $35. I would also recommend checking shelters and human societies for guinea pigs. The adoption fee is usually less than it is to buy one at a pet store.

guina pigs at petsmart usually run about 20-25 dollars but my personal experance is dont go to petsmart i have bought 3 pigs from there and they all died from problems they had when i got them. i breed pigs and the best way to go is look in the paper for someone who is selling babies they are much healthier and cheaper. piggies make great pets good luck in your search.

I don't like advertising and, as such, don't give prices for specific stores. Depending on the breed and your location, etc, the cost ranges from $5 to $100.
BTW, your "detail" follow-up/info doesn't make sense! Why in the world would you spend more money at a retailer, when there are plenty of lower-cost options, such as shelters that probably gave the animal far better treatment than the stores? Not to mention that many newspapers' classifieds have folks offering them for free! If the cost is the same, then, certainly, it doesn't matter from whom you purchase the critter. However, that is not the case, here! Save your money, and do your part to give homeless pets a good home!

They are around $15-$35.
But keep in mind that it costs alot of money to own a pet:
vet care, food, cage, bedding, treats, hay, this all adds up.
It could cost you around $100-$150 when you get it, but could cost up to $45 a month.
