Who else thinks that the WWE is moving away from a post attitude era to a 1980's Era when the Wrestlers characters had a theme, like a non attitude era theme like this.
Finley- Irish Man
Hornswoggle- Lepercon
Randy Orton- The Bad guy, then the good guy, like Macho Man Randy Savage
The Great Khali-Is the big strong Giant like Andre The Giant.
Umaga-Like Kamala
Trevor Murdoch-Dick Murdoch
King Booker-Almost directly from the 1980's in the WWF.
John Cena-Like Bret Hart Fans love him at one place, then at another place he is hated.
Santino-Very much like a character in the WWF in the 80's
Val Venis-Like Rick Rude on how he thinks he is so sexy.
Daivari-He reminds me of the Iron Sheik, and the Volkoff's.
Beth Phoenix-Reminds me of Chyna on how strong and dominating she is.
Brett & Brian The Major Brothers- They totaly remind me of The Rockers Shawn Micahels & Marty Jannetty.
Deuce N' Domino- The theme is a Tag Team that think they are in the 50's, that sounds like

a idea from the WWF in the 1980's.
Jessie & Festus-Very Simular to Hilbilly Jim & his family.
Robbie & Rory- Very much like a 1980's WWF Tag Team.
The Miz-He totaly reminds me of The Godfather because of how he is a Chick Magnet, and is sorta a pimp in the since that the miz has control over the girls.
And then there are the Wrestlers that are from the WWF Attitude Era or from the time after the Attitude Era like.
Edge
Mark Henry
Undertaker
Kane
Matt Hardy
Jeff Hardy
Chuck Palumbo
Batista
Chavo
Rey Mysterio
Bobby Lashley
Mr. Kennedy
Triple H
Shawn Michaels
Shelton Benjamin
Hardcore Holly
Charlie Haas

Yes, the Great Khali looks technically no better than the late Andre, but what he did at No Mercy was quite genuine. A Punjabi prison match?! Prayers to the most evil hindu gods? I mean if we talk about entertainment, even Dean Malenko's vast repertoire of moves does not assuredly beat Khali's experience in many fields of activity and exotism. In sum it is likely that Khali will improve technically, while it is unlikely that Malenko will grow bigger than he was in 2001. So, it might be right for a new wrestler to borrow tricks in the old book while he forges a distinct character.
The other comparisons you make are rough. For instance Rude and Venis, not the same guy --> Rick Rude was a walking muscle, and he was dead serious except for his trunks. Nowadays, even Rey Mysterio looks fat compared to Rick Rude. If Venis and Rude were in the same ring we could tell the difference quickly.
And wrestling in general is not the same as it was in the 80s. First the scriptors are as quick as lightning to produce 52 Raw episodes a year, and the chairman's character is quite a recent addition. The divas division has expanded, Cyber Sunday is genuine thanks to WCW, and the technology has changed, the crowd has changed, its ideals have changed, so we might not witness another ultimate warrior era until a majority of hippies start to walk again in the streets. John Morisson is the closest we can get to the hippie ideal perhaps, and he was not so succesful. The hippies would have to understand how a tv works before they like Morisson, so really our hope is lost.

this is basically the timing and famous individual potential it extremely is the adaptation. right this moment's era occurred after an era that extremely regarding what authentic wrestling followers have been foul mouthed maniacs. the celebrities of right this moment have not got any potential and internet is terrible. back then the huge WrestleMania crowds have been a phenomenon they're person-friendly now. Hogan and Cena are the main significant distinction. no longer basically replace into hogan enjoyed by employing teenagers their fathers took them there to work out hogan now the new child will cheer cena and the dad will cheer CM Punk. each and every physique cherished the Hulkster.

yeah, you are right! But I still think that wrestling was at its peak in 80's with Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Randy Macho Man Randy Savage, etc and then at the end of the 90's with The Rock, Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
