That would never happen; Im honeslty sick of all this college football hate, who cares about the rankings this early? They don't mean anything until the end of the year. The fact is that it all works itself out every year. The teams that make it through unscathed will be the ones rewarded at the end of the year. Look at history and tell me how many times there has been more than two or three undefeated teams at the end of the season.

There would be 10 happy teams. Other than that, nothing changes, the voters for the bowl games will still vote same as they always have. Look at the records, the strength of the teams schedule, quality of wins etc.

answerman: No, there would be 8 unhappy teams.

As for the question, it will not happen. But if it did, the top 2 in the BCS rankings would play for the BCS championship, and chances are that winner would also get the AP championship, too. It's not fair, and hopefully if this happened several times it would result in the adoption of some form of a playoff...but that will not happen either.

With the BCS format, the formula based on the various polls would still determine the teams for the BCS Bowls and title game....and even in that scenario, there are no guarantees - though highly unlikely - that any of the undefeated teams would be in the top eight spots.

That actually isn't possible because all of those teams will end up playing eachother sometime or another throughout the season.

USC would still get into the NC game with 1 loss.......

Seriously though, the AP isn't concerning themselves with that until it happens.
