We're all so angry. It's not healthy, and it really helps nothing.

I'm not saying not to have opinions, but I think something needs to be done about the meanness in it all. I've heard stories from the '70s of Republicans and Democrats getting into it on the floor of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and then that evening going out for dinner together. Seems like they'd soon spit on each other as look at each other now days. It's no wonder absolutely nothing gets done except a huge p!ssing match.

I found an interesting site the other day that is trying to address this issue.
This guy is trying to start a magazine that is called 2 Sides, and both sides get to state their views and debate without all the BS and bashing.
They are looking for more writers, too.
Look at "letter from the editor" and then click the "Write for Us"
I emailed this guy today because I like what he is trying to do, even though he is just starting up right now.

Yes, it's coming soon.
There are no politicians in our future that will have the courage of conviction, for better or worse, than Bush had. They are afraid to deploy troops or influence for fear of going through the same thing he did.
Isolation is on our horizon.
We will have nothing to argue about.
We'll just sit here and enjoy the bliss of our new found mediocrity while the framers turn in their graves.

no b/c the politicians want you to be that way. Angry is distraction of what they are campaigning for or lack there of. Meaning they really aren't saying anything, they have no campaign so they'll throw wild accusations of other candidates out there to distract from the truth...they're fony...they have no views....they really don't have any fresh ideas on how to get our country out of debt and etc.
You have to read between the lines and don't fall into the ignorant masses who only read People and US magazines and watch MTV. If u r one of the masses that only educate your mind with BS...then you fall into the "feud" trap that all politicians lay for ignorant ppl out there who really don't care and don't want to know they are just stimulated by voyeuristic antics. And if that is the case...pls do not vote. thank you.

No because we all have very strong opinions. Some are trying to change this nation from a nation founded by Christians to a nation founded by nothing. You can't change history. George Washington warned us about a 2 party system. It looks like his worst fears are being realized.

Educating the neo-liberals would be a good start.
Not electing Hillary would be good too. That woman is THE most divisive person in America today.

Watch the Star Wars prequels again. You'll see what happens when someone is mad for power, and someone else wants everyone to "be made to agree".
Seriously, what we need is for the whole 60s generation (doves and hawks) to hurry up and die so they can take their anger to the grave.
Think about it, a lot of the anger is coming from political hacks in their 50s and 60s, who were all moulded by the anger stirred up during Vietnam.

yes a new revolution and dividing the nation up into atheist/socialist antiAmericans and proGod family and Americans.
it's coming but not soon enough for my perference.
that way the left can spend their taxes on abortion and drug addicts and rapists and murderers keeping them cozy in prison.
while we can spend out taxes on national defense and building roads and deporting all illegals and putting rapists and murderers in the ground where they belong.

Well, it all starts with the individual. While I agree that something needs to be done, I have to say that I've seen you ask some pretty divisive questions....

No. This country is based on freedom and equality and that means everyone gets an opinion. There will always be huge differences that can't be resolved. The political divide is actually quite healthy in terms of how the country runs.
