There are lint traps you can buy at hardware stores or grocery stores that attach to the washer drain hose...they are usually metal or plastic tubular netting type devices that clamp on the hose and have to be replaced periodically when they are all clogged up. Some washers have lint traps built in but a lot of them don't.

From a WASHING machine, or DRYER? Most washing machines will have someplace for catching the wash's lint, but some models, there is none, because it is flushed out with the water down the drain with the wash water. Check your machine's manual.
The DRYER has no LINT TRAP??? Most do... HOWEVER, there are NEWER models out that do not have lint traps... that's right... they don't. There's a combination washer/dryer (yep... all-in-one... no need to stuff wet clothes into a dryer... just put in dirty clothes, and OUT comes clean, DRY clothes all in ONE step!) that do not have lint traps. Again, consult your owners manual.
Dryer lint is a notorious fire hazard, and should be taken seriously. When they say remove lint after each load (or before the next one) THEY MEAN IT! Also, dryer exhaust "hoses" that are like "accordians" are also to be AVOIDED... because lint can be trapped in those "folds" and build up where you cannot even SEE or reach! There are services which will clean dryer vents (along with heating vent cleaning) and for the price, it's cheap fire insurance! But if you are installing new, install SOLID, straight-sided pipes, not the "flexible" ones.
Have a clean day!

They all have a lint trap. It is just that some of them are built in. They trap the lint while the washer is washing, then backflush the trap into the drain while the washer is draining. It you have that type of trap there is no way and no need to clean it.

if there's no lint trap, the machine must be a self cleaning machine.
run the machine, without clothes, through a full cycle using 1 cup of white vinegar in the wash cycle.
Also, you should check the extrusion hose to make sure it's clear of any lint, too. Make sure all hoses are attached tightly.

The lint goes out the drain hose. If your machine isn't draining check the hook at the end for a clog or the drain pipe it's self. Usually this isn't a problem. If it's not draining correctly it's most likely the pump.

vacume it from the back side. first you have to unscrew the back plate then you can see all the lint inside. if nothing works call a professional service tech guy to come and do it for you
