Hot glue off plastic[film]?

I have some hot glue on some film. Like camera film. How do I get it off?
I think a hair dryer will make it shrivel up, and acetone will discolor the film.

Try putting the film in a freezer for about ten minutes,the glue shoul peel off by bending the film gently where the glue starts and your fingernail can do the rest.

Give the 10 to Extitude. You might still have damage to the "Film"
