At the time Rommel and the German Occupation was looking very powerful. On hind sight it appears to be foolish but at the time is was " Should I support the Strong germans and stay alive? or the weak British and be killed by the Gestapo and replaced by a flunky?" Winners write the history books. I can't say that I wouldn't ahve done the same thing! I doubt that he had many choices at the time.

If the Germans won the war, King Farook would be a wise man, don't you think?

Gigi, Does it mean when somebody does something wrong, does that mean we also do wrong? King Farook, did wrong. Never is it good to side on the side of injustice, no matter what history remembers
