can you please explain to me why fossils have shown the exsistence of Pangea??

animals of similar lineage living at that time are equally distributed among the 7 continental landmasses of today. unless they swam there or flew there how else could you have two of the same species on coasts seperated by 1000s of miles of water. The answer is the coasts used to touch each other, making the single land mass of the mast.

fossils have shown us that the continents were once joined together but seperated by continental drift because certan animals who's fossils were found can not swim so there is no way possible that they could have gotten from one part of a continent to another because the only way of travel was by flying or swiming wich wasn't possible for these animals and also proof was the fact that the continents fit together like puzzle peices
