Hello everyone,
I'm applying for college this year and I don't really know how many letters of recommendations are enough. I know I can get a lot but I don't know how many is too many. Could you all help me?

Typically a minimum of 3. Who they are from and how relevant they are to what you are majoring in is just as important as how many.

i would say the least is four. especially, try to get a recomendation from the class you are majoring in. some schools or programs ask for specific recomendations, such as if your majoring in chem, or bio, they would want from a math and science teacher. Try to avoid getting from less important classes such as gym. good luck and apply early :)

Sometimes the college has requirements for how many they want. You might want to e-mail the admissions office and ask them--that's your best bet.
