As a long time hockey fan, I'm used to the home team being in white, so I guess I prefer that but then again its not such a big deal either way. Let the paying customers decide (which apparantly is dark for the most part)

I would have to vote for white, while the dark is interesting, for a short time, it's nice to see a change in every home game. As a flames fan every home game all i see is the home team's dark jersey, and the away team's white jersey, get's boring after a while and its like, 'who are we playing again?' All the away teams look the same.

They could do it like the WHL: The home team wears the dark jerseys in the first half of the season, and the white jerseys in the second half.

Home jerseys should be white, mainly because I don't like the NHL being like other sports. I used to enjoy wearing the white jersey to home games and relaxing on the couch or going to the local watering hole in my team colored jersey to watch them play on the road.

Tradition has a lot purpose. Mind you strategically when fatigue is an issue our eyes more easily pick up a brighter/colorfull jersey. So personally I'd fight for the right of choice. An edge clearly given to the dark.

I prefer white personally, but only if the Sabres are in their classic jerseys with the charging Buffalo over crossed swords.

I prefer the dark. There is a reason all the team pictures are done in the coloured uniform (as opposed to the white)

I'm all for the old way on this one. Perhaps they could revert to the old way and thrown in a 3rd jersey for about 10 home and away games each.

The fans have voted overwhelmingly for dark in the past (72% of jersey sales are dark coloured)

DARK!!!! This isn't the WHL, or any other league. The dark colors always look better, and that should be afforded to the home team. You're playing in THEIR HOUSE.
