Remember when kurt angle wrestled three times in one night?
Didn't HHH wrestle three times last night???
Is this just a coincidence???
I like both shows...but...this makes me think...

I believe this is some sort of analogy indicating that Triple H is to WWE what Kurt Angle is to TNA.. The only difference is that unlike Triple H, Kurt Angle is an actual wrestler exempting him from all the negativities of wrestling 3 times at Hard Justice.. By the look of it you're right: WWE actually did imitate TNA's most recent PPV..!

While a decent observation, the difference here is:
-Kurt Angle really had no choice. He had all of TNA's titles and it was making the company look like crap. HHH started one match with no title at all.
-TNA screwed up by thinking of placing all of the titles on one person. WWE had to do something in order to keep the show interesting since their main event was destroyed.
-This is not the first time someone wrestled three or more times in one night. Didn't HHH have five matches on one SmackDown episode in the past (9/23/99)?

Actually, I don't think its an original idea for either company. I remember other wrestling companies through the years having a wrestler wrestle more than once on a program for various reasons. So you can probably say that WWE and TNA have both used recycled ideas.

see man this is why you are the greatest questioner in yahoo wrestling history, Yes i think that wwe is trying to live up to tna's standards because just like that old saying" slow and steady wins the race"
tna will catch up to wwe and be the dominant brand once wwe makes stupid mistakes, and fires there top stars and they go to tna

BUT REMEMBER WWE DID THAT A FEW YEARS AGO WHEN KURT ANGLE WRESTLED 3 TIMES AT KING OF THE RING! SO WWE DIDNT COPY TNA CAUSE WWE DID IT FIRST ANYWAYS! IT WAS THIER ORIGINAL IDEA!

people have been discussing that Sting could desire to connect WWE interior the 21-2-11,even even though it tuned out to be The Undertaker(a hundred cases greater effectual then Sting), now that u can say that TNA is the biggest JACKASS in professional Wrestling...they made a similar promo for the envisioned guy Sting....TNA=JACKASSES

No, this has been used many times as a "trial" for the babyface. Neither company thought it up.
But as a matter of the question...wwe/f has used long before TNA.
