My friend accidentally spilled some tequila and lime on my shoes and they are still wet 2 days later and you can easily tell what the smell is, if you attempt to smell it, which worries me.

They are KSwiss, and I don't drink, because I'm underage, which is why I'm worried, just in case my parents smell it and know what it is, they might think I was drinking.

sprinkle borax or baking soda inside the shoe and with a damp cloth and baking soda or borax rub the out side of the shoes if possible and let dry

Just don't get attached like I did and end up sending off to shoe rehab for 500 quid.

Now I just pop back into Asda for another 5.99 pair whenever they get hooked on the sauce.

lesson learned!

You could wear them around in the rain and let them get wet and then dry them so they don't get smelly. Should wash the smell away. If the smell persists then mask it with oust or lynx or something.

When I was drinking, It was the vomit smell in my shoes that worried me more. Thank God I quit many years ago.

if they are leather, try some vinegar. you can never tell if the shoes will become spotted with any type of cleaner if they are leather. if they are fabric, throw them in the washer, NOT the dryer.

dont worry about it my shoes are always covered of beer & p*ss stains. just keep drinking it wont matter in the end.

Rinse them in water and let them dry out. Time will do the trick I think.

Could've been worse - there could have been salt in there too, rubbing your feet raw!

maybe wash your shoes with bleach.or buy new shoes
