On Saturday, I tripped and fell on a sidewalk; I scarped both hands (palms). On my left hand, it's badly damaged and has a thin sliver that's pretty deep for a cut. It looks like a knife cut it. Next to the sliver is an open, drunken-looking circle-shaped cut that's on the line where I bend my thumb.
On my left hand, it's hardly damaged, but it's still scraped. I'm only worried about my left.
Whenever I just lightly touch it, it hurts. I'm wondering if it's gonna form a scar. What do you think??

Hands are the least troublesome spots for scars. Usually even if it does scar, it will look like another line on your hand on either side. Since the cut is still fresh the best thing you can do is to apply an peice of an aloe vera plant. You can buy a small one at home depot or any place that sells plants has them, it is loaded with vitamin E which is the best for healing cuts and scars. Cut a piece off and rub in the gels from it ever day. Then when it is healed put lotion that has a good amount of Vitamin E. Im sure it wont scar though! :)

Would it really be that bad if it did scar ? Scars fade in time, my scar (from heart surgery) has faded to a white line. It goes from my collar bone to just under my boobies, it is almost 12 inches long. I used Bio Oil to help scar fade. You only have a small injury, it probably won`t scar, if it does it will only be tiny. Don`t worry, I doubt anybody would even notice anyway.

everyone is different. It takes a lot to scar me but my daughter got a small scrap that did, though she was a baby at the time so her skin could have been more sensitive. Just try to not worry, and look at the bright side. If it does it is on your palm so not to meny people would see it. It would be easier to hide

im sorry but yes most likely but the good news is there are scar preventers out there such as a coco butter scar serum.anyone will work to make the scar less noticable when it heals.just start putting it on as soon as the cut has shut or else it will not help and it will sting.

if it's really deep, keep an eye on it for infections, maybe have it checked out to be sure you don't need stitches. I've never gotten scars on the palms of my hands, the skin is different there and renews much more often.

You sure it's not infected? If it does leave a scar, it will only be faint and fade with time. I once had to have three stitches where I hit my hand with an axe, but you can't see the scar now.

Nah, it will heal your scar in about two weeks or so. But you should get that sliver out. That will cause an infection depending on how deep it is.

I think your a teen from your ID so I would definately say you wont have a scar since your so young. You would have to have cut it deep and wide and if you did you would have to go to the hospital but yours isn't that bad.
Stay healthy.

Mabye. I scraped a little circle of skin off of my ankle, and it formed a scar. It went away after a few years, though.
