AC Method??

Question

can someone please explain the AC Method to me....i forget how to do it in equations such as 7x^2-33a-10, or 10x^2+x-3

You may be referring to the fact that the product of the roots is c/a and sum of roots = -b/a. If so, let r1 and r2 be the roots
Then r1r2 = 10/7
r1+r2 = 33/7
You can solve the above two equations simultaneously for the answer.
