1- Despite our many problems, the U.S.A. is a great nation. (You can disagree with the politics, people, leasders, places in this country)
2-Islamofascism is a real threat to America and the world. Capitulating to it, waving the white flag and saying that we don’t need to have a war on terrorism to combat their radical ideology is dangerous. They won’t back down whether we’re fighting a war on terrorism or not. (It's alright to disagree with the strategies used to combat Islamofascsim)
3- The borders must be tightly sealed from the threats of terrorism, drug or human smuggling, and illegal criminals who might come here to commit more crime and abuse our systems.
These issues that I’ve just mentioned aren’t liberal vs. conservative. They’re AMERICAN ISSUES!
It just so happens that for the most part, the conservatives have been the people to address these problems with aggressive and good solutions.

1. Yes I do think America is a great country.
2. Yes I do think that EXTREME Islam is a threat but I don't think the war in Iraq is going to solve that problem
3. Yes I do think the borders need to sealed
Even though I agree with the things you said I think that you that your claims about people being a traitor if they do not believe this is completely uncalled for and untrue. Someone is a traitor if they give information to the enemy or fight for the enemy NOT if they do like this country, do not support a WAR to fight terrorism and support illegal immigrants. You do not have the right to call anyone a traitor. Who do you think you are? The judge in a federal court? Well here is a heads up...I can give you an 100% guarantee that you aren't so you cannot call people traitors.

1. Yes, dear God yes, I think you're starting to get it now! It's O.K. to disagree with U.S. leaders, polices of said leaders, and people, and still have pride in your country It's O.K. to
say: :"Sir/Madam, I disagree wholeheartedly with your policies on (Issue X), I think that your way of handling (Issue X) is not only obtuse and ineffective, it is harming this country's well-being."
I don't like the Patriot Act or the Dept. of Homeland Security, I think neither have helped us with preventing terrorist attacks and that they are both unnecessary expansions of federal government. We were doing more than adequately well with the CIA and the old laws on spying.
But I still love my country.
2. Yes, I think most people get that as well. It's just we disagree on how to defeat the terrorists. Al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist cells exist in numerous countries, how do we stop them without invading dozens of nations? We simply don't have the will or the manpower to do so. Bullets alone will not stop Islamofascism at all. This War in Iraq has been a big mistake as well.
3. Dear God yes now! We should secure the borders before changing U.S. immigration policy. Having said that, this nation was founded by and built by immigrants, and should continue to be the beacon of hope for all those who wish for a better life. We should always tirelessly promote legal immigration.
I seriously disagree though with the idea that conservative policies have addressed these problems well. (See: Amnesty for Illegal immigrants under Reagan administration.)

#2 is simplistic -
NO ONE of any consequence in either party has EVER suggested waiving a white flag.
Of COURSE terrorism must be fought, but NOT at the EXPENSE of what made this nation great to begin with.
Even GW has wanted to change the name of the "war on terror" to something more fitting
And ALL fascism is a threat to America, not JUST Islamofascism

1. yes, totally agree. Despite our disagreements, this is a great nation.
2. Fighting back against terroists is very important. But do not try to associate Iraq with the war on terror. Even the Bush administration now admits that Iraq had nothing to do with it.
3. Once again, I agree. Imagration reform needs to be a high priority. Though its not a black/white issue. I predict that the best solution to the problem will come from the extreem right and the extreem left negotiating untill they meet firmly in the middle

I say:
It is this type of sanctimonious 'us vs them' rant, thinly veiled as an appeal to unity, that threatens the freedom and liberty of democracy and our republic. Although you do NOT represent the America or God of my belief system, I fully support your right to voice your opinion and served OUR country based on that conviction. I am an American and proud of it.

The pic of Michael Savage in his shades should have given us a clue as to how fair and neutral this question would be.
Basically what you're saying is: "Anyone who disagrees with me is a traitor". Good luck with that. 8^)
I don't care if you call me a traitor. Coming from you it's actually praise. 8^) But I'll tell you what I think.
1. 'Great nation' is ill-defined. America is a big and powerful nation. It's my home. I believe in the whole quote: "My country right or wrong--if right to be kept right, if wrong to be PUT right." Even a GREAT nation can stand a little constructive criticism.
And you will find it much more fashionable to criticize America in a couple of years when Hillary is president.
2. 'Islamofacism' (whatever the hell that is) is a highly hyped threat, as communism was. I think Christofascism is doing much more damage to the US than Islamofascism ever did.
3. Both parties love illegal immigrants. Democrats like new immigrant citizens because they vote Democratic. Republicans like cheap labor. So it doesn't matter how you vote. When Republicans make a big deal of illegal immigration and tell you they're going to seal the borders, they're pandering. You like pandering, don't you? 8^)

Im liberal and I couldn't agree with you more especially on immigration, but I think we need a different approach to the war on terror because we all know that staying in Iraq makes them more mad at us..

i would agree with 1 and 3, but i only half-agree with 2. while islamofacscism is a problem, there are other ways to deal with it than bomb middle eastern civilians (stop favoring israel, for one -- the islamic fundamentalists have said repeatedly that this is why they don't like us).
and sorry, but that first additional comment, the one with the threat, that sounds more like a nazi policy than an american policy.

Asking a question and then threatening those who may disagree with you is the complete opposite of being an American you moron. Therefore you are the traitor.
