I like RP, and I know for a FACT 911 WAS NOT an inside job

Hrm.

Define "support Ron Paul". I like his ideas. I think he's terrible at explaining them, which is a common flaw among Libertarians. I'm not enough of a supporter to join the Republican Party to vote for him in the Primary, I'll just vote for the Libertarian candidate.

Define "9/11 was an inside job". I think that there were a LOT of factors on the American side that made it possible, from lax security, the assumption of the fighters that did scramble that the threat would be over the Atlantic, the lack of imagination to have foreseen this kind of attack, the underestimation of the enemy's ability to carry it out, and the CONTINUING stupidity of even having a door connecting the cockpit to the main cabin on a large passenger jet. If recognizing that the concept of "contributory negligence" has some application means I think it was an "inside job", then so be it.

Most of us.

Just happens that the 9/11 conspiracy folks are a lot bigger number than I would have ever believed. And, since Dr. Paul is the only candidate who thinks investigating further is helpful, they've picked up on that and gotten behind him. His point of view is that we should have had better security to prevent this, and there's no excuse for why the intelligence about these pilots training for the hijackings didn't get caught earlier. But the negligent bureaucrats are playing CYA on the whole mess.

This is really a minor part of Paul's campaign, however. He's focused on small government, sticking to the Constitution, and stabilizing our monetary system. These issues are much more important, and the other candidates don't address them at all. This is why most of us are supporting Paul. That, and his opposition to a poorly thought out war. Not because of his stand on one event in history.

P.S. I also don't understand why anyone would support Giuliani for one event in history. I mean, it was a horrible thing, but his only role in the whole thing was to be in the city. Based on that, there are thousands of people equally qualified to be president.

I kind of support Ron Paul. I might vote for him. I think the government was pretty truthful concerning 9/11. No one can say though that they are telling the whole truth. Obviously intimate details concerning where points of failure existed were not made public.
