Murder doesn't always have to be planned. In some cases it has been ruled a crime of passion or an act of insanity. Assasinations are usually well thought out & planned.

Kill only skill which you made somebody die. Deaths in a time of conflict are no longer seen murders. A homicide is the intentional killing of somebody no longer for motives of self protection or another "legally excused" reason. If the dying is via twist of destiny, legally that's referred to as manslaughter, no longer homicide. Assasination is the homicide of a individual for political motives.

An assassin is a mercinary or politically/religiously motivated strictly speaking.
Some murders are wrongly desribed as assassinations. But that is the media for you.
