Best I've ever seen in person? or the best I've ever seen including on video? The best I've seen in person are Cassandra Shore of Jawaahir http://www.jawaahir.org and Margo Abdo O'dell http://www.margo1.com However Ive seen a lot of really good perfromances on tape. Naima Akef in Tamr Henna for example, or Tahiya Cariocca in Shore of Love, or Samia Gamal in Afrita Hanem. I've seen some wonderful video of Tamr Henna and Aziza as well as really good stuff from the turkish dancer Diadem (sp?). How about Aisha Ali or Artemis? They have some really good performances on tape. Rachel Brice has some really good performances as well. I guess I just can't narrow it down to one!

I like Rachel Brice and Didem... Sadie is Okay too... but I like the first two much better.

Darshan is a great dancer! I just had a workshop of hers this last weekend. I loved it.
of course, my dance instructor and another dance friend are really great dancers also...
