Not much point directing a medica question at salespeople!
Proper flea treatment is not found at Petco or any other store, it's only found at vets - particularly for animals like ferrets where the range of products you can use it not as wide as it is for cats and dogs.
Take your ferret to a vet for some proper treatmen - it might not even be fleas, it might be mites. I'm not sure which treatments are safe for use on a ferret, but a vet will be. If it IS dry skin, just using any old pet shampoo will not help, it could even make it worse.

You're bathing her too often. Ferrets exude an oily substance that protects their skin from drying out. This same substance is what causes the "stink". (Which is why even when you have your ferret de-scented, they still stink a little.) I bathe my ferret twice a month. To control the odor, change her litter pan often. You can also buy an additive for her water called "Bi-Odor" to help curb the smelliness. I would also ask the sales associate if they sell Ferretone, which is a dietary supplement that you would spray on her food to help keep her coat oily.

like what the other said. You might already be bathing her too often andthat could becausing her too itch, or if you put something new in her cage like a diff kind of bedding -she might be having an allergic reaction. It might best to take her to the vet if you can so she can get something to soothe the itching and you can find the root of the itchy problem.

I already see the problem we are having here. You are bathing your ferret WAY too much. It is only necessary to bath your ferret once every three months. Feel free to keep baby wipes around for in between clean ups of faces and paws.
Also...have you been reading up on ferrets? Ferrets are just itchy critters in general. You will find once you stop the excessive bathing that your ferret will still scratch for no apparent reason. Its just how ferrets are!
Stop spraying, wetting, coating, and gunking up your poor fuzzer! :)

You shouldn't be bathing your ferret once a week... They only need to be bathed like maybe once a month. Where exactly is she itching? Anywhere in particular? It could be ear mites if she is itching under her neck and close to her cheeks... You need to clean and check their ears weekly. Ear mites do cause them to itch alot.

You do not need to bath her weekly. You are drying out her skin because washing her too often takes essential oils off of her skin. That is why she is itching.
