I like "Goodnight Saigon" by Billy Joel.

It evokes a mood and atmosphere most anit-war songs don't. It is not really a protest song as such but more of an account of yong men losing everything against an army of young men losing everything. The infuriating stupidity of war!
You gotta love Billy Joel...

I personally love Pink Floyd's Us and Them, it's very mellow and the piano is amazing.... and it's avery anti-war and it puts it in such a peaceful way.

It's the theme tune to Cannon Fodder on the Commodore Amiga, which had the ironic lyrics 'War-never been so much fun'. Sensible Software made the game. I always thought that pop singer Captain Sensible had founded the company but this sadly seems not to be the case.

The Royal British Legion insisted that the poppy motif be removed from copies of the game. The legion totally missed the point that the game was quite an affectionate tribute to the men who were often subjected to uniform slaughter in war.
The Daily Star also missed, or chose to miss, the point of game, calling for it to be banned. However, as The Daily Star is an experiment in what can be produced if you leave enough monkeys with enough typewriters then they have some mitigating circumstances.

Bob Dylan's Masters of War and A Hard Rains A Gonna Fall. I just love the lyrics to both of those tunes.

99 Luftballons.

The English translation missed some important nuances, so I'm thinking of the original German..

Where most of the songs others have listed here all pretty much say "isn't it just so horrible", the original German version of the song's message was more like "isn't it all just so pointless." Horrible can be dealt with, if it has a point. Pointless is pointless, horrible or not.
