Those are Braxton-Hicks contractions and you are feeling your uterus tighten and relax. It's like practice for labor.

Your baby inside is growing. Be sure to oil your belly with olive oil...so you don't get stretch marks. Some new mommys-to-be use other products...it's a hit and miss type market. Take the guess work out of it by using only olive oil morning, noon and night and other time the belly feels tight. Olive oil allows the skin to loosen without the tearing beneath...
Spend a good 10 to 15 minutes every application just massaging the olive oil into the skin on your belly. Your baby inside loves this quiet time with you...and your belly skin will bounce back after baby is born without the stretch marks!
Baby oil is not a substitute for olive oil. Many women who have had multiple births and have used olive oil still don't have stretch marks...and even the older ones have belly skin that still looks young.

Thats braxton Hicks contractions. Its just your body getting ready for the real thing.

& heavy as a rock right? i think those are braxton hicks contractions, not sure though!

Braxton-Hicks.. Feels weird doesn't it! I hate it when they catch me off gaurd like when I'm walking.
